The NorthConnex Motorway is a $3 billion infrastructure project delivered in partnership by Transurban and the Australian and NSW governments. Stretching over 9km in length, the completed twin-tube tunnel directly links the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga to the Hills M2 Motorway at West Pennant Hills.
Contracted as the lead Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) commissioning Engineer/Superintendent, Nettlefold Projects was responsible for the development, coordination, and management of the programs for commissioning of all surface assets. Leading a team of engineers, supervisors, and electricians, we organised all pre-commissioning and commissioning tests, including the provision of all associated quality documentation and ‘as commissioned’ drawings.
In the end, we provided a fully managed and monitored service, successfully delivering to the strict deadlines of the commissioning schedule.
