In 2018, Newcrest Mining approached Nettlefold Projects to support the expansion of their Cadia, NSW asset – one of the largest gold mining operations within Australia.
Engaged as a Project and Asset Manager, the scope of the project required Nettlefold Projects to provide full oversight over the delivery of expansions in both the underground and surface operations of the Cadia Ridgeway mine, situated just 25km of Orange, NSW.
We provided a service across the full life cycle of the delivered projects, guiding the design and implementation of engineered works through feasibility studies, budget projection, and risk management. As leading engineering consulting firms, we consistently reviewed scopes to ensure that the Caldia expansion works aligned with all budgets, standards, and schedules.
